Is This A Scam?

Alsolutely NO. There is so much money to make from Freebie Sites. Whenyou sign up and complete an offer for a freebie site, the freebie siteget paid a bounty by the advertiser. Also, the advertiser potentiallymakes a lot of money off of users that continue with the service theysigned up for. Last but not least, you and I get freebies!

What's the catch?

Goodquestion. You obviously realize that you aren't going to sit on yourcouch and then next week a bunch of expensive gifts are NOT going tojust show up at your door for no reason other than you wanted one. Thecatch is that you must complete an offer for an advertising company andthen refer X number of friends to complete offers as well. That way thefreebie site gets paid from the advertiser, the advertiser getspotential customers, and most important of all you get a freebie!

Likemany others, you may be wondering how in the world we are able to giveaway free gifts. Hopefully, this document will help clarify things foryou.

Lets begin by explaining the process to which you, the user, takes in order to receive your gift.

Choose your gift. Just click on the bubble underneath whatever gift youwant and register. Enter your email with the "New User" box checked,and click on register now. You should be brought to a page asking youto fill out some important information, including your name, address,and telephone number. Make sure you enter everything accurately, as wewill need this information to ship out your gift! If you've alreadyregistered on one of our other sites, please check the existing userbox and log-in with the details of your other account.

Onceyou have registered and are logged into the site, please click on the"Offers" link. This should be clearly visible if you are logged insuccessfully. Now that you're on the offers page, you should see awhole lot of sites advertising products or services. These are known as"offers". Your goal is to earn one full credit in offer completions.Offers that state "Credit Value: 1 Credit" will earn you this fullcredit, while offers that state "Credit Value: 1/2 Credit" will earnyou 1/2 of a credit. You should notice that we have a very largeselection of offers, so you're bound to find something that interestsyou. Don't worry, nearly all of our offers aren't going to cost you aridiculous amount of money. We have many free trials!

You'regetting there! This final step involves you referring a few friends tocomplete this same process that you just went through. Assuming thatyou've now earned one full offer credit, please click on the "Status"page. On this page, you should see some in bold stating "Your ReferralLink" with a link below it. This is the link you will give to yourfriends when referring them to the site. If you're unsure of how manyfriends you need to refer, please look under under the "Your SelectedPrize" gift image. You should see something such as (2 Referrals)indicating that you need to refer two friends to sign up and earn afull offer credit.

What is "Going Green?"

"Going green" is an industry term. It means that as a referral, youhave completed all the needed requirements. It's called "going green"because that is the color that the sites use to let the trader and thereferral know when they have finished their requirements. This will allmake much more sense as you read the trade walk-through tutorial on theforum.

Do I have to use my real name and information?

Yes. You must provide accurate information when signing up on thefreebie site and the sponsor offers, otherwise your sign up will not beconfirmed, you won't receive your payment or item, and you willprobably be banned from the site.

Once I complete an offer how long does it take to show as "green?"

It can take anywhere from a few minutes to several days. It dependson the offer your choose and how they report the status of your offercompletion to the freebie site. Each site will clearly tell you howlong it takes for each individual offer. Please note that "instant"does not mean instant in this industry.

When I sign up for anoffer that is a free trial, do I have to keep it if I decide that I amnot interested in the product/service, or can I cancel it?

In general, when possible you should always try to pick offers thatyou may be interested in keeping. You can find many that cost less thanthe going rate for greens, meaning that you can keep the offer andstill make a profit.

You should only take offers that you aregenuinely interested in at least trying. IF you find once you havetried the offer, that for whatever reason it does not suit you orappeal to you, you CAN cancel it. Remember, you can take these offersas gifts for others, as treats for your family, as something foryourself you would have never done if not paid to do so, etc. There aremany offers you will be interested in!

Taking offers you have nointerest in at all, simply to fulfill the needed requirements for thefreebie site as a referral, then turning around and canceling themright away is FRAUD, and therefore illegal.

For that reasonfreebie sites will ban people that promote cancellations, or helppeople to cancel, and the topic is taboo on the forums.

If you must cancel, you should wait until near the end of the trial period, giving the product a fair try.

Can I take the same offer more than once?

No. Once you choose an offer and complete it,that's it. You can nottake that offer again on any other site. Even should you cancel on onesite, then take the offer again on another site, you will be redflagged and sited for fraud. Remember, Fraud is illegal, and therefore,you don't want to take one of these offers, cancel it then take itagain. That is very bad, and not allowed. It is also not allowed totake an offer for a service you have been a member of in the past.These companies are paying for "new leads" meaning that they wantpeople who have never tried their product/service before.

What do I do if the offer(s) I take don't credit?

If your computer is set properly to allow cookies and if you havefollowed the proper procedure for getting offers to credit, then youshould have little problem. 9 times out of 10 the reason an offer didnot credit properly is due to the fault of the referral, NOT the offeror the freebie site. IF, however, you feel that you are not at faultfor the offer not crediting, then you MAY at some sites issue a MCR(Manual Credit Request). Many sites do not allow MCR's anymore, though,as scammers and frauders got a hold of this industry and took advantageof the MCR system. Sadly, it did much damage to the industry and costeveryone a lot of money. SOME sites do still offer MCR's though, andonce again, check that site's Terms and Conditions page to see if thatsite will take a MCR or not.

If they do not accept MCR's, youmay have to take another offer to make up for the one that did notcredit. This does not happen frequently however, and should not be aconstant issue for you.

Can I join an freebie site more than once?

No. They consider that "fraud." You can only join each site onceper household. That means that if you have two computers you can notjoin from both, and that your spouse or other family member can notjoin the same site if they have the same identifying information as you(email address, phone number, shipping address, ISP address, etc.)

Can I get a prize from a freebie site more than once?

Sometimes, it depends on the site. Some sites allow you to completethe requirements for a prize and then do another with the same account,this is called a "repeatable site" or a "forever green" site. Thismeans you can sign up, go green, get your needed referrals for thatprize, get that prize, pick another prize (or the same one again) andstart getting referrals all over again! If you pick a cash prize, itsan endless cash flow situation!

Some sites, however, are NOTrepeatable. To find out if a site is repeatable or not, you can ask afellow member, or look at that site's "Terms and Conditions" page forall that site's information.

Need some help getting referrals? Here are a few ideas that have helped many of our members:

Forum Signatures - Add a link with a short description of the program to your signature in forums that you actively contribute to. If you are not active at any forums, consider joining some that discuss online money making. CashCrate does not encourage or endorse spamming of any form.

My First Post. Woo Hoo!

Well, I want to share that I have finally stepped up and had the courage to sign up to learn a new language. It is the Japanese language that I will be learning at a local community college. Boy, the first day was AMAZING. Actually, I was lost like a mouse in a labyrinth. My teacher, Morioka Sensei, is AWESOME. I'm so lucking to have a cool teacher and he's from Japan too.
